Starry Night Meetup // Baskett Slough

Last night I met with my photo group to photograph the night sky out at baskett slough. It was a BEAUTIFUL night and you could see the stars very clearly. Within seconds of clambering out of the car I witnessed one of the brightest shooting stars I had ever seen. That was a bit of a precursor for the rest of the night. The sky was filled with the milkey way, numerous constellations and lots of shooting stars. We also had the advantage of the big hill that takes center stage at baskett slough being a wonderful foreground subject. Enjoy the photos.
