Opal Falls // Back Track Post

I got rather busy these last couple of months and did not get to post some photos from another hiking adventure my family and I went on. Way back in June we went to Opal falls, a trail out near Mill City. It was a nice hike and there was a lot of stuff to see on the way. On the way to the falls we passed machinery that was used for mining back around the era of the depression, old sheds and lots of huge tress. In the end we did not make it all the way to Opal falls since we found a nice spot to stop and enjoy the river but we did get to see sawmill falls which are in the photos below.
