A Walk in the Woods

After our outing to the Japanese Gardens in Portland we had yet another WONDERFULLY nice day to play. We decided to visit Silver Falls State park, one of our favorite places to hike and enjoy the great outdoors. What a great day it was. The weather was perfect and there was lots of new foliage. We decided to take a trail we had not been on before, Maple Ridge Trail. This lead us down and down until we made it to Lower South Falls. Since we have had a lot of rain recently there was a lot of water in the falls and made for some nice photos. All in all it was a nice way to spend some great family time and make some great photos.
