Aperture 3 Tutorial // Watermarking

I wasn't planning on making another Aperture 3 tutorial until the start of 2011, but I found that I need to make some changes to my own work and watermarking so I decided that since it was all fresh in my head that I would go ahead and make the tutorial. It took me a bit of time to learn the ins and outs of watermarking and I still feel there is a lot to learn, but this tutorial sums up a lot of the main ideas so that you can get on your way.

In the video I mention that I use a 3rd party plug-in called "Impression." It's a great little plug-in and I hope that we will see it grow and add more features as time goes on. So on with the tutorial!! As always watch it in HD for the best quality.

Did this video tutorial help you?

I enjoy making these Aperture tutorials and will continue to do so to the best of my ability. With that said, I am looking towards the future and see the need to extend and grow what I can offer. If you like the videos that I have been providing, please consider a donation to help me make them better. If you prefer not to donate that will in no way impact future tutorials.

This is NOT required nor is it in any way going to be tied to any other part of my site. Any donations supplied will be used for the sole purpose of helping me create better tutorials for my fellow Aperture users. The rest of my site will remain as it has been and this information and the donation button will only be available after a video tutorial. Thanks -Nate

I like Impression and will have to take al look at it. What I am wondering is where did you get those cool looking dark icons?

Love the tutorial, and that plugin looks like it works very well. I do have a question unrelated to your tutorial though...how did you get spaces in your dock to section off your Icons...that is such a great way to increase efficiency.

Have you seen the Aperture 3 plugin called BorderFX? It does watermarks on export OR inside Aperture 3 as well as virtual borders for art print or Internet display.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am trying out Aperture 3 from LR3 and the watermarking frustrated me at first. Much appreciated!

Happy new year!!
