Teaching is something that I have always like to do. Now with the ability to record and share how-to videos from the comfort of my home it makes it that much easier. Combining my passion for photography, my love of Aperture and my fondness of teaching seems to be a good fit. I have posted a couple other videos on my site before, but I am going to try and make this a regular thing from now on.
In this video I talk about using multiples of the same adjustment and how you can use the "brush in" command for those adjustments. Aperture 3 is a very powerful application and is my primary tool for editing photos. Photoshop still has a time and a place, but with the more powerful tools and techniques included inAperture 3, it's getting harder and harder to need PS for everything. So sit back, dim the lights, grab the popcorn and enjoy the movie.
P.S. Don't forget to watch it in HD for the best quality! :)
Did this video tutorial help you?
I enjoy making these Aperture tutorials and will continue to do so to the best of my ability. With that said, I am looking towards the future and see the need to extend and grow what I can offer. If you like the videos that I have been providing, please consider a donation to help me make them better. If you prefer not to donate that will in no way impact future tutorials.
This is NOT required nor is it in any way going to be tied to any other part of my site. Any donations supplied will be used for the sole purpose of helping me create better tutorials for my fellow Aperture users. The rest of my site will remain as it has been and this information and the donation button will only be available after a video tutorial. Thanks -Nate

Great tutorial buddy. Wish I could use aperture, but alas I am a Windows boy and not an Apple Man... I may grow up someday
Just wondering if you use a Mouse or a Pen when you edit????
@Steve - Thanks! As long as you are going what you love and you are happy then you just keep on doing it!!
@Les - I use bother mouse and pen but I use a Wacom tablet for most my editing.

Great tutorial. The brushes are a great tool in Aperture but for me still a difficult one, so please make more tutorials like this one.
Ton
@Ton - Thanks for the feedback. I have a couple more videos in the works right now but I will look at doing something specific to brushes in a future video. :)
I am new to Aperture (and Mac). Was happy to find you and your tutorials. I am also anxious to try out your presets. Thanks! Hollie
@Hollie - Welcome to the wonderful world of the Mac and also Aperture. There is a good community of people out there that use aperture and like to help others so you should be able to learn at a good pace and move forward. Look for more tutorials in the future and possibly some more presets.
